Equine Courses from Lingfield Correspondence were first offered in the early 1990's. Since then the courses have increased in content and length quite considerably. The courses provide excellent flexibility. You can put the course down when life is busy and pick it up again when you have more time. Free help and advice on all horse related queries is available for all students. The aim is for Lingfield Courses to offer a friendly and informal approach to learning about horse care and management. Students in many countries around the world are now benefitting from the knowledge gained in these courses.

We provide a professionally produced, distance learning programme which is ideally suited to today's busy rider. The Lingfield equine care and management courses are based on the theory required for the BHS professional Stages examinations.
Tutors are chosen, not only for their experience and excellent qualifications, but especially for their friendly and helpful manner. They hold qualifications such as BHS, degrees in Equine Science, International Trainers Passports, NVQ Assessor, RDA Instructors, Equine Body Work (massage) and McTimoney manipulation. Course advisers include physiotherapists and vets, all of whom provide a wide knowledge base on which students may call for help and advice.
